I’ve now managed to acquire this Small version and had previously acquired the Large version of this cool design so now need to turn my attention to finding the Medium design!
Here’s Juno’s description from Pluredro:
“This is the smallest one among three kinds of Pinned Framed Burrs. It still requires 40 moves to remove the first piece from the assembled shape and because of the larger number of possible assemblies of the internal pieces, this one can be more difficult to assemble than the M sized one.
The same as M, the internal pieces are made of remnants of the L sized one. The grooves on these Teak internal pieces were milled out by a CNC router for accuracy work. The surface of the frame and the pieces is exceedingly smooth and it will give you a good feeling when you play with the puzzle.”
Size: 82 mm x 82 mm x 42 mm
Number of pieces: 5
Material: American Rock Maple, PNG Rosewood, Burmese Teak and stainless pins
