Little Bruce - Ken Irvine by Wood Wonders

I recently acquired this puzzle and it’s very nicely crafted by Brian using a mix of Wenge, Chakta Viga, Paduak and Birch.

Ken has designed a lot of puzzles while this one and its sibling ‘Little Kenny’ probably spurred on the TIC (Turning Interlocking Cube) craze!  If you’re a fan of this type of puzzle these two should be at the top of your list.

I now have acquired what appears to be an original copy made by Ken in Cherry and after having played with it a few times I have come to the conclusion that this design is my favourite!

Allard has a great write up on his blog.

Here's what Brian said:  Please visit Wood Wonders to stay informed of his wonderful puzzles!

“Here we have a close relative to Little Kenny, Ken's Little Bruce! While this design is easier than Little Kenny, the assembly may give you a challenge.  I think it is fun and the perfect companion to Little Kenny. This would be a great introduction if you are new to TICs. It's easy enough for the first time TIC solver!”
