Twelve Puzzle -Ternary Tile Challenge by Andrew Parr

I’ve been admiring Andrew’s Lego puzzle boxes for a while now and when I spotted this one I decided to grab one!

You should head on over to Andrew’s Etsy Shop and see what’s available!

Here’s fellow Canuck puzzler Andrew’s description:

“The Twelve Puzzle is a sliding tile puzzle, inspired by the classic 15 puzzle. This puzzle has three separate challenges. First, slide the tiles so the orange pieces form exactly seven complete circles. Next, slide the tiles so the blue pieces form seven complete 2x2 squares. Finally, find the arrangement of tiles so the green pieces form an unbroken circuit. You can ignore the other colors as you work on each challenge. All three challenges have unique solutions.

Unlike classic sliding tile puzzles, my puzzle is built with tight tolerances. The pieces slide without twisting, resulting in very smooth and precise motion with just the right amount of resistance. This puzzle is very durable and the tiles will not fall out. The only rule is DON'T take any pieces apart!

Difficulty: 9/10

Puzzle Size: 6" x 5" x 1"

353 pieces
