Gorilla Evolution - Alexander Magyarics by NothingYetDesigns/John Devost (Canuck)

This puzzle design was originally printed by ‘NothingYetDesigns’ that included a neat plexiglass container with a slick sliding lid!

I received this version as a gift from a fellow puzzler and Alexander has graciously allowed me to make a small run.

I toyed with idea of making a box that could hold the different ‘cubic solutions but ultimately shelved that idea and decided to make a tray in the 6x6 configuration.

These first copies were sent to Alexander.  The trays are bottomless, so more like tray frames.

Here’s Alexander’s description:

“First of my ‘Darwin puzzles’ starting with one cube, the next piece is the previous one with one cube added.  

Main challenge: 6x6 square - 1 solution 

9x4 rectangle - 4 solutions
